Alexander Sultan-Khan

Alexander Sultan-Khan is a German humanitarian professional with Swiss permanent residency, who has worked in the sector for over 10 years for a number of international organizations in different emergency field operations in the DRC, CAR, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Niger, Lebanon, Jordan, and Colombia. He has also worked in multilateral diplomacy with the United Nations and the European Commission, as well as in bilateral diplomacy for the German Government, based in Berlin, Brussels, New York, and Geneva. His professional skills include humanitarian affairs, diplomacy, political analysis, policy analysis, external and donor relations and international humanitarian law and protection.


Alexander Sultan-Khan received his BA in International Relations & Political Science from Tufts University and his MA in International Relations & Diplomacy from Leiden University. He speaks English, French, German, and Spanish fluently.
